People can outgrow yoshi and begin to prefer another kind of creature. Like one that isn't copyrighted, and that aspect of it could cause some issues or something if a person wanted to publish their work, or something. It's not like it's a sin or something to change your character.

I dunno, I find it odd that someone would want to trade in a Mario character for a furry. To me, Mario characters are more unique and interesting, while furries are just...normal animals being humanified. Humans are too normal for me as well.

That's just me, though. Everyone else can do whatever they want, but I know I'm not gonna change my Boo character.
